Announced officially on Wednesday of this week, the
Frederick Cardinals semi-professional baseball team has been renamed the Frederick
Flying Dogs in honor of their new primary sponsor, and newest Frederick company, the Flying Dog Brewery of
Denver, Colorado (http://www.flyingdogales.com).
The Flying Dog Brewery is Denver’s largest
brewery and the second-largest craft brewery in the state of Colorado. Their award-winning beers
are available in 40 states, including Maryland.

Mid-Maryland Semi-Professional Baseball League, part of the National Amateur
