The former Cardinals remain 0 for Flying Dogs after last nights loss to the Sykesville Bulldogs. Last nights 4-3 loss marked the 4th consecutive loss for the Flying Dogs and the 3rd consecutive 1-run loss. With the bases loaded and 1 out in the top of the 7th, rookie Brian Peterson smashed a line drive, but right at Bulldog third baseman Price. After the first 2 batters of the inning reached base the Flying Dogs where unable to capitalize on their advantage.
Tony Garza made his first start of the season going 5 innings and allowing only 3 runs. Rob Stup threw the final frame allowing only 1 unearned run on a defensive miscue.
