Lights go out as FlapJacks face first loss of season

Frederick FlapJacks came out red hot in the semi-final game against the Maryland Hawks. Jason Christenberry was back to his old self throwing a complete game gem for the 3-1 victory. Shriner had two RBI and Ian Eberly had a sac fly to finish out the scoring. Red hot David Hostetter led the team with 3 line drives.

In the night cap Championship game the FlapJacks got flipped. Losing 6-4 in 6 innings. (Lights went out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th with Mick Myers stepping to the plate.)

The Frederick FlapJacks are off to a great start. Stay tuned to for the MMSPBL 2017 schedule. Seasons start April 30th.
