Reno Powell Memorial Tournament

For the 4th straight season the Flying Dogs will take part in the Reno Powell Memorial Tournament over Memorial Day weekend. The Dogs best finish was in 2007 when they swept their pool before falling to the host team in the semi-finals for a 4th place finish. This years tournament will consist of 12 semi-pro teams from around the region.

5--- MIDDLETOWN BREWERS (East Shore Twilight League) Middletown, Pennsylvania
6--- SUSQUEHANNA BRAVES (Susquehanna Baseball League) Bel Air, Maryland
7--- BRUNSWICK ORIOLES (Blue Ridge League) Brunswick, Maryland
8--- US NAVY ALL-STARS
9--- FEDLOCK FALCONS
10-- BALTIMORE BOBCATS (Mid-Maryland League)
11-- BUCK COUNTY REDS
12-- WESTERN CHARLES
The three tournament sites are North Hagerstown High School, Smithsburg High School, and Boonsboro High School. The Tournament will begin on Saturday May 23 with 4 games at each site. On Sunday May 24, there will be 2 games at each site to complete round-robin play. The Tournament round will begin Sunday afternoon with games at North Hagerstown and Smithsburg. The championship game will be played Monday May 25 at North Hagerstown. Please stay tuned for the complete tournament schedule.
